CVS Vets 24/7 Chester

Location: Chester

Contract: Annualised Hours Contract | Part-time, 25 hours a week

Practice Type: Out of Hours, Small Animal

Competitive Salary: Up to £82,000 FTE

Life at CVS Vets 24/7 Chester

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Chester team to work on average 25 hours a week, covering a mixture of twilight (2pm-12am) and night (7pm-8am) shifts.

The Rota Pattern Would Be

  • 3 twilights on, 7 shifts off
  • 4 twilights on, 7 shifts off
  • 4 nights on, 7 shifts off
  • 3 nights on, 7 shifts off

CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is a well-established emergency and critical care hospital ideally located with excellent transport links to Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales, and the Lake District. A unique benefit of the practice is its close integration with referral services, allowing teams to work alongside specialist clinicians in areas including neurology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, and anaesthesia, creating exceptional opportunities for knowledge sharing and clinical development.
