Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity at Medivet Tyldesley
Medivet Tyldesley is looking for a confident, enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at a particularly exciting time for the practice.
Tyldesley is an up and coming town with a growing independent scene, including vibrant coffee shops, bars and places to eat, while still offering easy access to Manchester and Salford Quays. With the V bus route providing a direct connection from Manchester and Salford, it’s also a great option if you want to work outside the city without giving up an easy commute.
Our front of house area has recently been renovated, creating a fresh and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets, and that’s just the beginning. A further back of house renovation is due to start soon, continuing the transformation of the practice and enhancing our clinical working environment.
At the heart of the practice is our modern surgical suite, providing a great environment for a vet who enjoys getting hands on with their cases and wants a genuine mix of consulting and surgery.
This is a fantastic time to join us. Rather than stepping into a practice where everything is already set in stone, you'll have the opportunity to be part of its next chapter bringing your own ideas, helping us develop our clinical services and having a real influence on how the practice grows.

Role Accountabilities
As a Vet you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, whilst ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

About You
You’re a qualified MRCVS with a passion for clinical excellence and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
