At Vets for Pets Cambridge Bar Hill, we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team.
We're a progressive, purpose-built practice with facilities and expertise that go well beyond what is typically expected in first-opinion practice. Our mission is simple: to make advanced veterinary care accessible by offering procedures traditionally only available through referral centres, whilst maintaining the affordability and continuity of care that first-opinion practice provides.
This means our vets have the opportunity to be involved in a fascinating and varied caseload that includes not only routine medicine and surgery but also advanced minimally invasive procedures.

- 9 Veterinary Surgeons
- 10 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and 3 Veterinary Care Assistants

- Multiple Certificate holders, including Surgery and endoscopy and endosurgery and colleagues with a wide range of clinical interests

Bar Hill is home to a growing referral service focused on:
- Flexible and rigid endoscopy
- Laparoscopic surgery
- Minimally invasive diagnostic procedures
The practice was purpose-built with endoscopy and endosurgery in mind, providing facilities rarely found in the first-opinion environment.
An interest in endoscopy, laparoscopy or minimally invasive surgery would be fantastic, but it is absolutely not a prerequisite. We are far more interested in finding a colleague who is curious, enthusiastic and committed to developing their skills.
For the right candidate, we can provide:

- Salary from DOE
- Full-time or part-time considered
