Role Description
The Veterinary Surgeon will provide high-standard medical and surgical care to companion animals, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Performing a range of surgeries
- Conducting consultations
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure effective patient care
The role involves:
- Advising clients on preventative medicine, long-term health plans, and treatment options
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement
The Veterinary Surgeon will also engage with technology-enabled tools to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Ashford, Kent.

Qualifications
- Relevant veterinary degree (e.g., MRCVS or equivalent) and eligibility for professional registration
- Experience in small animal practice and confidence working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, empathy, and client education abilities, with a commitment to animal welfare and ethical practice
- Comfort using practice management systems and diagnostic technologies, with an interest in innovation and sustainable practice
