About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, experienced customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Surgery to join the team at our state-of-the-art Barnsley surgery, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service.
You’ll be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets, and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing. You'll be an excellent communicator and a real team player, integrating well with our wider clinical and non-clinical team members. We are happy to consider full or part-time candidates for this role, but it will include two late shifts per week and the 1 in 4 weekend rotation.

About Us
Team Overview
In our team, we currently have 4 RVNs and 3 Veterinary Surgeons. One of our Veterinary Surgeons has a clinical interest in exotics, and the other is enhancing her imaging skills, so there’s definitely no shortage of interesting cases coming through our doors! We pride ourselves on the training and support we offer to students and we’re delighted to say previous students have joined us on a permanent basis once qualified. We’re constantly working on new initiatives to support skill gaps and we make sure CPD is continuous and happening across all levels in our surgery.
Community Engagement
We’ve worked hard to make sure our practice has a friendly, local neighbourhood feel and we’ve built strong links with the local community through hosting events, fundraising, and delivering educational initiatives.
