Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a vet with at least 3 years' experience and focused on small animal medicine and consults. They should be able to perform ultrasounds to a good level (the clinic has an excellent MyLab Fox model).

Salary

The salary is up to £74,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

About the Practice

This three-vet practice is not open overnight, but in terms of a very interesting case load and team size (10-11 on many days) it resembles a hospital. It is run by a vastly experienced Branch Partner vet who does many of the surgeries. Procedures that can't be done in clinic are taken to Hendon 24 Hr Hospital.

In addition to the ultrasound machine, there is full dental equipment including dental x-ray, and up to date laboratory and monitoring equipment. It's a bright, spacious clinic situated on the Finchley Road in NW11 with free on-street parking and good transport links.

Job Details

This is a full-time role (40 hours a week), with a four-day week plus either 1 in 6 full weekends at Hendon 24 or 1 in 3 Saturdays on a two-clinic run. Our vets share bank holiday and on-call duties and can expect to work 2-3 bank holiday shifts a year and have 2-3 weeks of on-call per year.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
