Veterinary Surgeon - Modern, Purpose-Designed Facility
Location: Dorset
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000
Are you a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for small animal care? The role involves a varied small animal first-opinion caseload, encompassing both routine soft tissue surgery and more complex medical cases. The position requires someone who is comfortable working sole charge when necessary and is eager to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The supportive team environment ensures that you will have the resources and encouragement needed to develop your own clinical interests. The team consists of 2 experienced Vets, 1 new graduate, 3 RVN's, 2 SVN (about to qualify) and 5 admin/client care assistants.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied small animal first-opinion caseload
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries
- Conduct medical examinations and treatments
- Utilize digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities
- Work collaboratively with a supportive nursing and client care team
- Participate in Saturday work on a rota basis
- No out-of-hours work required
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a small animal Veterinary Surgeon
- Confidence in managing own cases independently
- Proficiency in both medicine and surgery
- Ability to work sole charge when required
- Strong communication skills for building client relationships
- Commitment to high standards of patient care
Salary and Benefits:
- £45,000 to £60,000

Working Schedule:
- 8.30am to 6.30pm Mon to Fri (early finish if no admin) 8.30am to 12.30pm on rota basis
- No OOH
