With Sammy recently joining Tizzy as partner, and following an exciting practice rebrand, we’re looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our growing, locally owned practice.

  • You will join the practice at an exciting time as we are growing the practice due to our loyal clients
  • We are looking for an experienced vet who is ready to make their mark on the practice, help us grow and offer excellent levels of care to even more of our local community and their pets
  • Our partners Tizzy & Sammy are passionate about investing in the practice, the team and the local community.
  • We have undergone a recent rebrand
  • The role can consider full and part-time and will include 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • You will join a lovely, well-established and long-standing team who believe in supporting each other and having fun with regular practice funded social events throughout the year allowing you to unwind
  • Join a practice that really cares and have set up a giving circle to support local charities
  • You will be supported by an experienced clinical team, smart appointment scheduling and an in-house laboratory, giving you everything you need to provide excellent patient care
  • Fantastic salary paying up to £50,000

About Us

Our practice is a small, friendly practice that is run locally by the owners Tizzy and Sammy along with them you will be supported by 3 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and all our wonderful support colleagues who allow us to provide fantastic care for our lovely loyal clients.

Our purpose-built surgery (take a look at our google tour here) complete with high quality facilities and equipment, is situated on the Clwyd Retail Park in town. We have great local amenities close by and plenty of options for those all-important lunch breaks. When not working, there’s great transport links to West Wales for the stunning settings and great outdoors and over to Liverpool and Chester for the busy city life. Or if you prefer, take in all Rhyl has to offer with sandy beaches, activities galore, and sites to see; there’s truly something for everyone here!

The role:

As a growing practice we are always interested in hearing from local talent interested in working with us, because everyone is at different stages in their veterinary career, we are open to speak to anyone. So, if you are an experienced vet looking for somewhere they can mentor and lead a team Rhyl could be perfect for you.

This is ideally a full-time role however we can consider part-time hours, even school hours! We truly can be flexible to support you having a great work-life balance.
