Veterinary Surgeon
Onsite: Solihull Veterinary Hospital
Location: Olton, Solihull, West Midlands
Contract: Permanent
Salary: up to £60k FTE – depending on experience
Enjoy a varied role covering consultations, surgical procedures and inpatient care, with a 40-hour week typically worked across three long days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Weekend duties are on a 1 in 4 rota, and we are happy to consider part-time applicants.

Life at Solihull Veterinary Hospital
Established in 2007, Solihull Veterinary Hospital (previously YourVets Solihull) is a well-regarded proud member of the YourVets group. Located in Olton, Solihull, our practice offers excellent accessibility, including disabled access and convenient on-site parking.
Working within a supportive and experienced team, including vets, RVNs, PCAs, receptionists, and a dedicated out-of-hours team. With access to a CT scanner and hospital facilities, you'll be involved in inpatient care from admission through to treatment and discharge.

From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, our focus is always on delivering the very best outcomes for our patients and clients.

About You
We're looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Working within a culture where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions, where improvement is encouraged, and where best practice is shared, you will be:

- Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take the lead on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.

- A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive.

- As an experienced vet, you'll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team, and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
