Find Your Future at Bruceview Vets
At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
Bruceview Vets is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team in Stirling. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive, RCVS-accredited small animal practice where clinical excellence and exceptional patient care are at the heart of what we do. With a new practice opening in November 2026, modern facilities and a supportive team around you, this is an exciting time to join Bruceview.
What You’ll Be Stepping Into
If you enjoy the variety of first opinion practice, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to build on your experience at Bruceview. You’ll enjoy a good balance of consultations and surgery, with the freedom to follow cases through from initial presentation to diagnosis and treatment.
We’re keen to support your individual clinical interests and development, with CPD and certificate study actively encouraged. Whether you have a particular area you’d like to develop or simply want to continue building your experience as an all-round GP vet, we’ll support you to do so.
We understand that everyone has different priorities outside of work, so we’re happy to discuss hours and rota patterns to find an arrangement that works for you. We’re happy to offer flexibility around your working pattern, with full-time hours of 40 hours per week worked across 4 or 5 days. Part-time applications are also welcome, and the rota includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. There are no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, and fixed or flexible working patterns can be discussed to find an arrangement that works for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
