Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
Ware, Hertfordshire
Salary of up to £65,000 DOE
Welcome bonus of up to £5,000
Relocation allowance of up to £5,000
At Inspiring Vet Care, we’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, collaborative team in Ware, Hertfordshire.
Chestnut Vets is a well-respected busy small animal practice which benefits from a varied caseload ranging from the provision of preventative health care to a range of facilities for digital diagnostic imaging, dentistry, medical investigations (separate dog and cat wards), and surgical procedures.
Your career, your direction
We don’t believe career development should follow a one-size-fits-all path.
Ideally we need a confident associate in general consulting and surgery, someone happy to work within a team where case discussion and contributions are encouraged, keen to develop skills and progress and who puts client and pet care at the foremost.
Practice Highlights

- At least one day of surgeries a week

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Each full time vet gets their own day in theatre with a further 3 days consulting. In a 6 week rotation one weekend will include consulting Saturday morning then taking care of any inpatients for that afternoon with the support of OOH provider over night. Another Saturday morning consulting only.
