Veterinary Surgeon at Inspiring Vet Care, Wyken

Up to £65,000 (DOE)

Relocation allowance of up to £5,000

At Inspiring Vet Care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve consulting, operating and collaborating with a team of dedicated and experienced nursing professionals. You will strive to ensure high standards of care and service for both patients and clients, with a focus on driving sustainability and productivity. The working rota can be tailored to your own clinical preferences, but ideally, we’re looking for a candidate with enough experience to be happy covering sole charge when required.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

  • You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.
  • You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

About Us

We’ve been a trusted practice in the local community for several decades. Our clients know us for our high level of care and empathy. The practice has facilities to equip you in your role such as x-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory. You will be working with a supportive team consisting of two registered veterinary nurses, one student nurse, one auxiliary, two receptionists, our clinical director and practice manager. There’ll also be support with several experienced locums, who make regular contributions to our fantastic practice.

The Rota

Ideally, we’re looking for someone to work 40 hours per week, over 4 days. There’s also the 1:2 Saturdays (09:00 - 12:00) that would be required. There are no out-of-hours or on-call required in this position. We can also consider applications from candidates who are looking for part-time roles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
