Deane Vets, part of ivc, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy and welcoming first-opinion practice, where you'll enjoy all the variety that makes general practice so rewarding. Our diverse caseload includes cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries and even the occasional tortoise, giving you the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases.
Build Your Skills with Clinical Freedom
Whether your passion lies in consulting, surgery or a combination of both, you'll find the flexibility to shape a role that suits your interests. You'll enjoy a great balance of consultations and routine surgery, including dentistry, lump removals and soft tissue procedures, with the time and clinical freedom to thoroughly work up your cases and deliver excellent continuity of care.
Modern Facilities, Experienced Team
We're proud to provide the equipment and support needed to deliver exceptional patient care. Our practice benefits from ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, SignalPET integration, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, plus microscopy and cytology facilities. You'll be joining an experienced team of five Veterinary Surgeons, eight RVNs and a dedicated Client Care Team who genuinely enjoy working together. Collaboration, knowledge sharing and ongoing development are part of our culture, with excellent support for CPD and certificate study.

A Healthy Work-Life Balance
We believe enjoying life outside of work is just as important as delivering outstanding patient care. Full-time hours are worked across four days, with shifts between 8:30am and 7:00pm, while part-time applications are also warmly welcomed. The rota includes just 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (8:00am–1:00pm), with no out-of-hours commitments, helping you achieve a great balance between your career and personal life.
