Veterinary Surgeon - Diagnostic Imaging

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Diagnostic Imaging to join our team at Abington Park Vet Referrals. This role will be hybrid, supporting both referral and first opinion teams with ultrasound studies (as well as access to on-site CT and visiting MRI), as well as some first opinion (or referral medical work) during the week. If the imaging caseload grows, then more time may be devoted to pure imaging.

We provide services including Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Orthopaedic & Soft Tissue Surgery. Practice facilities and equipment include visiting MRI, on-site CT, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and dental room, theatre, comprehensive on-site laboratory with a lab technician, fluoroscopy room, endoscope (rigid & flex), arthroscopy tower, ultrasound machine and much more.

At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

How You’ll Make a Difference

You will deliver advanced veterinary care within a referral setting, managing complex cases and providing clinical advice and support to referring veterinary practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
