Position Available: Veterinary Surgeon
We have a NEW opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the fantastic team at a small animal veterinary practice in Newcastle Upon Tyne Area, Tyne and Wear.
- excellent full time permanent opportunity working 4 days a week including a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, no Sundays, no OOH.
- practice is newly refurbished with a wide range of up to date equipment and technologies including; digital radiography, ultrasonography, dental radiography, in house laboratory etc
- this role would suit a motivated and confident vet, competent in neutering/lumpectomies in cats, dogs and small furries.
- join a welcoming, supportive and experienced 5 Vet team
- excellent opportunity to make a real difference within a close-knit community practice
- fantastic location to live and work - surrounded by countryside and near to coast, with great transport links and easy access to for cities Sunderland and Newcastle and airport.

Person Requirements
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the RCVS
- confident with routine consultations and surgical procedures
- interest in dentistry desirable but not essential.
