Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity in Weymouth, Dorset

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a small animal veterinary practice in the sought-after Weymouth area, Dorset.

About the Role

  • Excellent full-time permanent opportunity to include 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota with no Sundays, no OOH.
  • Practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards with state-of-the-art equipment; Vetus 50 ultrasound with colour Doppler and ECG, plus a K-Laser and laparoscopic equipment.
  • Role would suit an experienced Small Animal GP vet with good surgical and medical skills.
  • Ideally, you will have an interest or experience in laparoscopy.
  • Join a friendly, welcoming 5 Vet team including an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine.
  • Fantastic place to live and work in a sought-after South West seaside location. Weymouth offers a scenic coastal lifestyle along the Jurassic Coast with an award-winning sandy beach and historic Georgian architecture.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Experienced small animal Vet
  • Interest or experience in laparoscopy desirable
