Join a team led by three experienced Partners with advanced clinical expertise, offering a supportive environment and genuinely varied caseload across both first-opinion and hospital settings. This Veterinary Surgeon role is split between our Medivet Borehamwood practice and Medivet Watford 24 Hour Hospital, giving you the best of both worlds. For full-time applicants, this would typically include 2 days at each site and 1 in 6 weekends at Watford.

Watford is a well-equipped 24-hour hospital with CT imaging, endoscopy, and digital and dental X-ray, alongside access to MRI at our nearby Hendon site. Borehamwood has recently been rebranded and continues to build a loyal client base, offering a great balance of continuity and clinical variety.

A key highlight of this role is the support from three experienced Partners across the sites, including Advanced Practitioners in small animal orthopaedics and medicine (with a GP certificate in cardiology), and a Partner studying towards a PGCert in small animal surgery. This strong clinical leadership creates an excellent environment for vets of any skill set to develop and thrive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
