VETERINARY SURGEON
INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
Location: South London
Salary: Competitive, up to approximately £75,000 depending on experience
Hours: Full-time or part-time, with flexibility available
Contract: Permanent
Experience: Suitable for Veterinary Surgeons with 1–5+ years’ post-qualification experience
THE OPPORTUNITY
A well-established independent small animal practice in South London is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and growing team.
The practice provides high-quality clinical care within a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong focus on work-life balance and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

THE ROLE
You’ll manage a varied first-opinion small animal caseload, with the opportunity to develop your clinical interests and benefit from dedicated surgical time.
The practice offers excellent diagnostic and surgical facilities, alongside an experienced team providing clinical support.
ABOUT YOU
The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Is registered with the RCVS
- Has 1–5+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Is confident across general first-opinion duties
- Communicates well with clients and colleagues
- Is compassionate and committed to animal welfare
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
- Is keen to continue developing professionally
