We are looking for organised, detail-focused, and customer-oriented individuals to join our Vetting Team as Vetting Co-Ordinators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service.
As a Vetting Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting candidates throughout the pre-employment screening process, ensuring all vetting activities are completed accurately, compliantly, and within required timescales. You'll work closely with applicants, hiring managers, and external agencies, making a direct contribution to the successful onboarding of our workforce.

Northampton (NN4 7SL) or Birmingham (B37)
Salary:
£26,299 per annum
Role:
Permanent, Full-Time
Hours:
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing vetting cases from initiation through to completion.
- Processing employment, education, and personal references.
- Reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and third-party providers to obtain outstanding information.
- Monitoring workloads and progressing applications to meet business deadlines.
- Supporting the delivery of regulatory screening requirements, including Right to Work, DBS, and employment history checks.
- Ensuring all information is handled in accordance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries professionally and efficiently.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience in a busy office or shared service environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with sensitive information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working within a vetting, compliance, recruitment, HR, or screening environment.
- Knowledge of DBS, Right to Work, BPSS, BS7858, or pre-employment screening processes.
- Experience using recruitment or screening systems.
