Vetting Co-Ordinator

Location: Abingdon (OX14 1RL)

At Trinity Fire & Security, we’re more than just experts in safety and security — we’re a supportive team with a shared purpose: protecting what matters most to our customers.

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join us as a Vetting Coordinator, based in our Abingdon office (OX14 1RL). In this role you will coordinate end to end vetting checks for new hires, contractors and internal transfers.

You will act as the key point of contact, ensuring all pre-employment and ongoing vetting checks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Liaise with external vetting providers and agencies
  • Communicate with employees, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders regarding vetting status and outstanding requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate any discrepancies, concerns, or risks identified during the vetting process.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing vetting documentation, records, and reports.
  • Continuously review and improve vetting processes

What We’re Looking For

At Trinity, we know that how you work with others matters as much as what you know. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Previous experience in vetting, compliance, HR administration, recruitment, or employee screening is desirable but not essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
