Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Vice President position based in London. You will lead deal sourcing and evaluation across healthcare, growth, and private equity funds: spanning market mapping, fund screening, and due diligence. Core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting financial and qualitative analysis of fund strategies and manager track records
  • Preparing investment overviews and due diligence materials
  • Building and deepening relationships with fund managers, co-investors, and other key stakeholders
  • Supporting fundraising activities and investor reporting
  • Contributing to portfolio decisions and monitoring existing funds
  • Helping refine internal processes, tools, and insight generation across alternative investments

Qualifications

  • Strong investment analysis skills, including financial modelling, track record analysis, and due diligence across private equity, growth, and healthcare-focused funds
  • Experience in portfolio management and fund selection, with the ability to assess risk-return profiles and support portfolio construction and monitoring
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with fund managers, investors, advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong market research capabilities and able to identify trends, map sectors, and develop informed investment theses
  • Prior experience in private equity, fund-of-funds, investment banking, or institutional investing, ideally with alternative investments exposure
  • Track record operating within a regulated financial environment; familiarity with FCA requirements is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously within a small, high-performing team, with sound judgement, integrity, and close attention to detail
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus
