Areta is seeking a Vice President to join our growing investment banking team focused on digital assets. In this role, you will lead execution across M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates while serving as a primary point of contact for founders, investors, and senior executives.

As a Vice President, you will manage full workstreams, oversee Associates and Analysts, and drive high-quality client deliverables. You’ll work closely with the firm’s leadership on live mandates, business development, and market positioning in a fast-moving environment at the intersection of finance and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage full execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory processes, including diligence, valuation, investor engagement, and process design.
  • Act as day-to-day client lead, coordinating materials, data requests, negotiations, and transaction workstreams.
  • Review and refine deliverables prepared by Associates and Analysts, ensuring accuracy across financial models, industry research, and client presentations.
  • Prepare and present pitch materials, CIMs, management presentations, and other transaction documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop perspectives on market structure, competitive dynamics, and valuation trends across digital assets, infrastructure, payments, and Web3 ecosystems.
  • Support origination through idea generation, market mapping, and preparation for client pitches alongside senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
