About the Role
The Vice President, Audiences plays a pivotal role in aligning audience data with strategic media investments to drive client growth. Reporting to the AD/Director, this executive collaborates with internal teams—Strategy, Investment, Analytics, and Ad Tech—to institute data-driven media strategies.
Key Objectives:
- Transform client business objectives into actionable audience and media strategies.
- Act as the waiter for audience intelligence across multiple channels.
- Strategically integrate tools like Epsilon Clean Room, CDPs, and third-party platforms to refine planning and execution.
- Foster client and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment across internal partners while progressing industry trends.
- Garner leadership status in data and technology innovation to shape smarter audience strategies, enhancing client outcomes.
Responsibilities
Audience Data Integration
- Lead integration of audience data into media planning and execution for data-driven strategies.
- Develop and present data strategy presentations to guide media plans with audience-calibrated propositions.
- Propose and pitch client-specific use cases for technology investments, delivering quarterly performance reports.
- Own reporting processes—audience segmentation, sharing, and tracking data across internal stakeholders.

Collaboration & Alignment
- Translate client goals into practical media and technology strategies in partnership with Strategy, Investment, Analytics, and Ad Tech.
- Propagate client-facing guidelines to strengthen disparate brand strategies through cross-team coordination.
Leadership & Technical Excellence
- Empower Audience team members to embed insights into media workflows.
- Cultivate a team with advanced technical expertise, ensuring mastery of ad tech tools and analytics for optimal media strategy.
- Drive client-centric outcomes, collaborative with leadership to ensure data and technology solutions amplify results.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Stay ahead of evolving adtech/martech ecosystem trends.
- Deep knowledge of privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Mastery of research & test design, ensuring experimental rigor in data applications.
- Holistic understanding of 1st and 3rd-party data sources for robust audience diversification.
Data Governance
- Define and curate audience segments, coordinating with data partners for enriched reporting.
- Manage broad insights translation, ensuring clients understand actionable data narratives for ROI.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build client trust through transparent performance dashboards and storytelling.
- Anchor vendor relationships to unlock high-value data partnerships tailored to clients.
Requirements
Experience & Expertise (10+ years essential)
- Strong background in digital media strategy, including consulting, operations, analytics, marketing technology, or acquisition.
- Advanced proficiency in DSPs, DMPs, audiences of buy (ASSID), toolstacks, and** syndicated research** (e.g., eMarketer, Statista, Mintel).
- Demonstrated success in applying 1st and 3rd-party data to service media and business targets.
- Exceptional team management and self-organisation amidst high-pressure dynamics.

Technical Skills
- Comfortable fluency across Microsoft Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint, with a proven talent for data visualization and storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with audience definition, segmentation, and validation.

- Precision in delivering detail-rich insights across hyper-specialised data landscapes.
- Unwavering communication—verbal, persuasive, and written—capable of internal and client-facing messaging.
- Collaborative mindset, capable of bridging silos to streamline media activation.

Pay Range
Competitive compensation between USD $168,150 – $230,100 annually, adjusted for skill, experience, and equity. This role is promoted poles bonus/incentive eligibility, and pay is determined holistically by local currency, performance, and position requisitions.
