About the Role
BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, Business Technology Liaison to join our General Management/Business Operations team based in Manchester.
In this pivotal position, you will bridge critical gaps between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring seamless collaboration and transformative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary liaison between business units and engineering teams, ensuring technology solutions align with long-term business objectives.
- Identify and champion cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance processes, drive operational efficiency, and optimise performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into executable engineering initiatives, ensuring clarity and feasibility across teams.
- Provide forward-thinking advisory on emerging technology trends, shaping data-driven business and operational decisions.
- Manage go-live timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations to ensure the successful execution of high-impact engineering projects.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment that foster’s continuous learning and excellence-sharing, reinforcing BNY Mellon’s mission.

Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s (Or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Engineering, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record in roles requiring cross-functional, high-stake coordination.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking to align emerging tech with business needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling relationship-building across diverse teams.
- Proficient project management skills to lead complex multi-disciplinary initiatives from concept to delivery.
