Vice President, Wealth Services Operations Business Technology Liaison
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid – 4 days in the office)

The Role
We’re seeking a Vice President, Wealth Services Operations Business Technology Liaison to join our Wealth Services Operations Transfers Team in Manchester, UK. This role focuses on enhancing our Wealth Services platform—an ecosystem leveraging advanced data analytics, digital tools, and seamless integrations to deliver personalized wealth experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Act as a senior Business Analyst, bridging Product/Engineering and Operational teams to implement change within the Platform Operating Model.
- Collaborate with Platform Owners (PODs) and Product Owners to ensure Agile-driven transformations align with operational needs.
- Advocate for operations in the operating model, ensuring solutions prioritize user impact and scalability.
Transformation & Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and propose system enhancements, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and user-centric.
- Apply a data-driven approach to proactively refine processes and identify opportunities for AI and digital tooling improvements.
- Drive cross-functional change—process enhancements, digital solutions, and AI-driven operational optimizations outside PODs.

Core Workstreams
1. Delivery & Collaboration
- Partner with Product Owners, SMEs, and End Users to define JIRA tickets and ensure high-quality, consistent development.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, standups, design sessions).
2. Requirements Management
- Validate and refine user stories with cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives.
3. Testing & Validation
- Review test cases and test failures to identify gaps, new requirements, or defects.
- Ensure acceptance criteria are met and test outcomes align with operational needs.
4. Go-to-Market & Readiness
- Draft and circulate release notes as part of operational readiness.
- Support delegate operational planning activities under Product Owner guidance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Technical & Methodological Skills
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience essential.
- Expertise in Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Demonstrable Digital Tooling and AI expertise.

Industry & Business Knowledge (Desired)
- Wealth Management & Services familiarity (especially in EMEA). Experience with ISA/MIFID Transfers and other investment wrappers.
- Wealth Product Knowledge (policies, structures, client needs).
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Critical Thinking: Solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong experience managing senior stakeholders across projects.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for cross-team collaboration.
