Your Role

In this role you will:

  • Be a leader in Commercial Excellence Strategy
  • Be client facing, shaping growth and driving end-to-end value within key account(s) and ensuring Invent capabilities are embedded within the broader account strategies.
  • Manage the financial performance of the priority growth accounts in particular focusing on sales, revenue and profitability.
  • Create proactive, insight-led innovative propositions that support our clients’ business needs and differentiate Capgemini in the consulting market.
  • Build and maintain deep, long-standing relationships with CxO-level clients, understanding their priorities and acting as Invent’s voice on major transformation agendas, working towards a trusted advisor status.
  • Oversee successful delivery of projects and programmes in the Consumer Products sector working with colleagues from across the Capgemini business.
  • Help to run a successful Consumer Products industry team, inspiring and managing junior talent.
  • Drive eminence in the market through visibility at industry events and demonstrating thought leadership across a range of industry topics.

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Your Profile

  • A proven track record in consulting, working with multiple global Consumer Products clients to deliver transformational change.
  • Expertise across different sub-sectors. We work with clients in the FMCG, Consumer Health, Tobacco, Alcohol and Luxury Goods clients. The priority growth account(s) are within these sub-sectors.
  • Domain expertise in one or more areas of the Consumer Products operating model. Commercial Strategy and Category Management, encompassing channel, customer archtypes and route-to-market, are of particular interest for this role.
  • A strong business development background, bringing together Capgemini’s pre-existing relationships and your own network to generate >£4m of personal sales.
  • Breadth of experience delivering a wide variety of consulting services with a strong appreciation of how technology and AI enable transformation.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and market-making mindset supported by a focus on business outcomes for your clients.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a matrix-organisation, building strong internal networks and leading teams with a broad cross section of skills and experience.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a significant consulting background within Commercial Excellence/ Strategy.
