Working with a global financial services institution that provides a broad range of financial products and services to consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions worldwide. This organization is a leader in banking, investments, and wealth management, dedicated to innovation and integrity in financial markets.
The Role
- Oversee the full data quality lifecycle for supervisory and transaction monitoring controls within global markets
- Identify critical data elements and define data quality rules using structured SQL reviews
- Monitor data quality exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation with technology teams
- Manage data-related risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating for timely resolution
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to interrogate, reconcile, and validate datasets
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for data gaps and deficiencies, contributing to KPI development

What You'll Need
- Proficiency in SQL for complex dataset interrogation and structured data reviews
- Experience in data quality management, including rule definition, threshold monitoring, and exception investigation in a regulated environment
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on data issues and translate findings into remediation actions
- Understanding of risk and control frameworks, ensuring alignment with governance standards
- Strong analytical capabilities for ad-hoc analysis and data reconciliation
- Clear and confident communication skills to present findings to stakeholders
