Capgemini is seeking an exceptional Aerospace & Defence leader to join our UK Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences (MALS) business. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity to shape and grow our Aerospace & Defence practice, define our market strategy and drive significant business growth.
You will play a pivotal role in helping our clients address complex business challenges, unlock the value of digital technologies and deliver meaningful transformation. Working across our broad portfolio of consulting, technology and engineering capabilities, you will be responsible for building trusted client relationships, developing our market presence and leading a high-performing team.
Your role and responsibilities
As a senior leader within our Aerospace & Defence business, you will:
- Define and execute the strategy for our Aerospace & Defence sector practice within the MALS market unit.
- Drive significant business growth by leveraging both Capgemini's existing client relationships and your own industry network.
- Develop long-term executive relationships across key Aerospace & Defence organisations, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Lead major consulting, transformation and technology engagements from opportunity identification through to successful delivery.
- Shape, develop and bring to market innovative propositions that address the evolving needs of Aerospace & Defence clients.
- Bring together Capgemini's full portfolio of capabilities, including Strategy & Transformation, Applications, Cloud, Infrastructure, Digital Engineering and Business Services.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team, creating an environment that enables colleagues to thrive and grow.
- Represent Capgemini externally through industry engagement, thought leadership and participation in key sector initiatives and events.
- Maintain accountability for commercial performance, delivery excellence and client satisfaction.

Your skills and experience
You are a recognised leader within the Aerospace & Defence sector with a strong track record of developing client relationships, winning business and delivering complex transformation programmes. You will bring:
- Deep Aerospace & Defence industry expertise, supported by an extensive network of senior industry contacts.
- Experience leading large-scale consulting, digital transformation or technology-enabled business transformation programmes.
- A proven ability to identify, shape and win strategic opportunities within complex client environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, including responsibility for revenue growth, profitability and investment decisions.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a passion for developing future leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the credibility to engage confidently with Board executives, C-suite leaders and senior government stakeholders.
- The resilience, adaptability and entrepreneurial mindset required to succeed in a fast-growing and evolving market.
Your security clearance
Developed Vetting (DV) To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. To obtain DV clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 10 years, along with other very detailed criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
