Job Summary

The Vice President, Information Technology, EMEA is the senior technology business leader accountable for the execution, performance, and compliance of technology across the EMEA Continent. As a key strategic partner to the EMEA Continent Leadership Team, this role ensures technology capabilities, services, and programs are consistently deployed and operated across all brands, supporting continent business objectives and enterprise strategy alignment.

The VP owns strategic and operational leadership of field-based property technology: performance, reliability, security, and compliance across property technology environments. The role leads continent technology resources supporting hotels, interfaces with Global Technology and enterprise stakeholders, represents the continent in global technology governance, and serves as executive sponsor for owner and franchise technology engagement. The role also partners closely with the VP, Global Hotel Onboarding and Deployments, providing oversight of local resources on that team to deliver predictable, high-quality deployments with minimal disruption to hotel operations.

The VP is the primary technology point of contact for EMEA leadership, property teams, owners, and franchisees, representing the continent in global governance forums and sponsoring owner and franchise partner engagement.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Leadership

  • Serve as the primary technology advisor and business partner to the EMEA Continent Leadership Team, ensuring technology strategy and execution support operational priorities, brand standards, guest experience, and financial performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance on optimizing existing and emerging property technologies, infrastructure, and support models, leveraging global technology capabilities to drive growth, efficiency, scalability, resilience, and value creation.
  • Partner with Global Technology leaders to influence enterprise roadmaps, solution design, and deployment approaches for continent needs.
  • Act as single point of contact on technology-related needs across disciplines and stakeholders: discipline and market leaders, hotel teams, owners, franchise partners.
  • Translate business priorities into coordinated technology demand and action plans for the continent, coordinating execution through global capability leaders and continent/property teams.

Property Technology Operations and Execution

  • Provide executive oversight of all field-based property technology activity across EMEA, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across managed and franchised properties.
  • Ensure effective management, support, and operation of property-based technologies in alignment with business requirements, SLAs, and MI technology standards.
  • Apply ITIL/ITSM discipline (Incident, Major Incident, Request, Problem, Change) to drive operational excellence at scale.
  • Drive continuous improvement of property technology operations to improve stability, adoption, and operational efficiency while minimizing hotel disruption.
  • Provide oversight of the local onboarding and deployments team, ensuring new hotels, conversions, renovations, and major technology transformations are delivered with speed, consistency, quality, security, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure high performance of on-site and remote support models and operational technology environments.
  • Lead the evolution of the support model as part of the IT modernization roadmap, developing new capabilities and upskilling teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
