Technology Advisory and Enterprise Architecture Vice President

About the Role

Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 + bonus

Location: London Based - Hybrid working

This is an opportunity to help organisations solve complex business and technology challenges by turning strategy into practical, measurable outcomes. The role focuses on enabling business transformation through technology, delivering sustainable value, and supporting organisations in achieving their strategic objectives.

A flexible hybrid working model is offered, combining client-site, office, and remote working. Travel is required, although the frequency will vary depending on client and project requirements.

What You'll Do

As part of a Technology Advisory team, you will provide independent, senior-level expertise to help executive stakeholders maximise the value of technology investments and improve business performance.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing digital and technology strategies, operating models, governance structures, and organisational capabilities.
  • Defining technology and product strategies, supporting both strategic planning and execution.
  • Designing target-state enterprise architectures and technology roadmaps aligned to business goals, covering data, applications, integration, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Delivering technology cost optimisation initiatives, outsourcing strategies, and end-to-end transformation programmes.
  • Conducting technology, platform, and infrastructure assessments, including modernisation, consolidation, and rationalisation activities.
  • Supporting technology due diligence, mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and integration programmes.
  • Providing guidance during IT crises, project recovery initiatives, and interim technology leadership engagements.

What You'll Bring

  • A combination of consulting and industry experience is preferred, with the ability to lead smaller engagements or contribute to multiple workstreams within larger transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, designing enterprise-wide technology solutions in collaboration with both business and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, infrastructure, IT operations, security, and governance.
  • Experience conducting digital capability assessments, technology diagnostics, and maturity reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to develop pragmatic implementation plans and technology roadmaps that deliver measurable business value.
  • Experience designing complex target-state architectures using a range of methodologies, frameworks, tools, and technologies.
  • A genuine interest in emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to apply new thinking to business challenges.
  • Passion for improving technology effectiveness and helping organisations achieve their strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior business leaders and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, supported by sound commercial and financial awareness.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required by project demands.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, including office, remote, and client-site locations, with occasional travel.
  • A collaborative approach, a commitment to professional integrity, and the ability to foster an inclusive working environment across all levels of an organisation.
