Luxury Executive is leading a confidential search for an exceptional senior executive to shape the events, cultural programming, community, and public presence of one of London's most distinctive private members' institutions — a name woven into the city's cultural history, now entering its next chapter under founder ownership with significant long-term investment.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and operating as a member of the executive leadership team, the successful executive will shape how the institution is experienced, remembered, and represented.

At the centre of the mandate is the creation of an exceptional year-round programme of events and cultural experiences, together with the ability to act as a compelling and trusted host for members, artists, partners, and distinguished guests. Communications, creative direction, and brand expression form part of the wider remit — but the successful executive must first and foremost be able to originate, produce, and personally animate memorable experiences.

THE ROLE

  • Events & production. Conceive, produce, and deliver a year-round calendar of world-class events — from intimate member moments to landmark cultural productions — owning creative execution, budgets, partners, and delivery.
  • Hosting & presence. Be the face of the institution: personally host its landmark moments and most valued guests, and represent the brand in the rooms where its reputation is made.
  • Cultural programming & entertainment relations. Build the programme and the relationships that make an institution magnetic — artists, performers, cultural leaders, and the people around them — with absolute discretion; develop collaborations and strategic partnerships across luxury, culture, and entertainment that create long-term value.
  • Community & membership curation. Shape the composition, character, and cultural relevance of an ultra-discerning community — who belongs, how they're welcomed, and the moments they talk about for years.
  • Creative direction & environments. Direct the creative vision for the physical experience — styling, installations, and every designed detail — so the space itself tells the story.
  • Brand, voice & communications. Author the brand and experience guidelines and direct PR, earned media, editorial, and storytelling — a supporting capability of the role, held to the same standard as the rest.
  • Founder partnership. Work hand-in-hand with the founder, CEO, and creative leadership to translate a bold vision into experiences and cultural presence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE

  • A distinctive year-round cultural and social programme that gives members compelling reasons to return, and the city reasons to talk.
  • Trusted personal relationships across culture, entertainment, luxury, society, and the UHNW community.
  • The institution's most important moments personally hosted, with consistently exceptional creative production and guest experience behind them.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A substantial senior-level track record across events, brand experience, creative direction, cultural programming, entertainment, communications, or luxury hospitality — with evidence of operating at Director, Vice President, or comparable executive level. Backgrounds beyond hospitality are actively welcome.
  • Genuine, hands-on creative development, production, and delivery of large-scale, high-profile events or cultural experiences.
  • Outstanding creative vision with exceptional attention to detail — the ability to originate an aesthetic and hold an institution to it, not only to deliver one.
  • An exceptional personal network across UHNW, society, cultural, and entertainment circles.
  • A confident, credible, and generous host, able to engage naturally with members, artists, partners, and high-profile guests while representing the institution with discretion.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, agencies, and production partners; comfortable owning significant budgets; commercially aware and creatively uncompromising.

This is not a conventional corporate communications role, a traditional event-management appointment, or a customer-experience position focused on systems and processes. It calls for a rare combination of creative authorship, cultural intelligence, live-production capability, relationship capital, and personal presence.

THE PRACTICAL REALITIES

This is a full-time, predominantly on-site leadership appointment in London. The role requires flexibility to attend and host evening and weekend events, together with occasional travel. The package is a highly competitive six-figure executive package, reflecting the seniority of the appointment.

PROCESS

Apply with your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a confidential conversation with the retained partner, at which the full brief and the identity of the institution will be shared.

Luxury Executive and our client welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the selection process. Candidate information is handled confidentially and in accordance with our privacy notice at luxuryexecutive.com.
