As part of their UK and European strategic plan, the CFO is building a best-in-class finance team to business partner and grow the business.

The Role

The VP Financial Planning and Reporting (FP&A) is a critical hire managing a small commercial and analytical team and interfacing directly with operational leadership providing timely, accurate and relevant financial and operational information.

Duties include:

  • Develop a comprehensive analysis and reporting process to track business performance vs annual scorecard targets, operational business plans and KPIs.
  • Manage the preparation of board reports and monthly business reporting consulting with operational teams.
  • Develop and monitor key financial performance dashboard to provide valuable financial insight and support across the business.
  • Oversee preparation of annual budgets for the UK and support the preparation of the asset specific budgets for UK investments.
  • Oversee the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis & reports as required.
  • Create and improve long term financial models for the business, working closely with the operational asset management team.
  • Work closely with the VP Finance and Accounting to ensure the maintenance of the control environment and integration between FP&A and financial reporting procedures.
  • Manage the quarterly re-forecasting process and any ad-hoc requests for forecasts.
  • Provide support as required when securing approvals for capital drawdowns with respect to Opex, Devex, and CAPEX.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA) with a strong technical grounding, in an accountancy practice and then at least four years of progressive commercial experience in businesses that are growing quickly or going through change.
