Premier Research: Vice President, Global Clinical Operations

Role Responsibilities
- Works closely with the global clinical functional head and other functional segment leaders to set and prioritize overall functional segment strategic goals including aligning on annual budgets and multi-year strategy; develops and execute on a business plan to facilitate growth within functional area
- Owns the functional segment metrics, realization, and deliverables and is accountable for hitting operational and financial targets
- Responsible for the oversight of the global functional segment and the recruitment and retention of talent
- Promotes a culture of high performance that values a commitment to growing revenue by delivering quality on-time, on budget, and utilizes processes to drive continuous improvement
- Delivers a multicultural approach and facilitates cooperation between countries to ensure effective harmonized delivery of projects while driving quality improvements to increase overall operational efficacy
- Assists in Business Development activities including proposal development, proposal costing, budget reviews, and leading proposal presentations in partnership with Business Development and Scientific Account Leadership
- Assists in the creation, development, and nurturing of key strategic customer relationships
- Provides quarterly (and ad hoc) performance reviews for leadership meetings
- Drives and holds functional segment leaders and managers accountable for qualitative targets for quality of service, timeliness of delivery, customer satisfaction, and functional strength

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in clinical, science, or health-related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry in a project management, clinical research, data management, statistics, or regulatory affairs leadership role
- At least 8 years’ experience in a management capacity
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, scientific, technical, and clinical expertise in the conduct of clinical trials in the respective area of focus as demonstrated by past positions related to the therapeutic/specialty area in the CRO and Pharma/Biotech sector
- Consultative communication and collaboration approach to the implementation of the project plan with the team and the customer
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Maintains a positive, results-oriented work environment
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel
