The Opportunity
Counterpoint is entering its next stage of growth and hiring its first Sales VP to lead this next chapter. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Global Sales will shape Counterpoint's worldwide commercial strategy, strengthen relationships with leading technology companies, and build a scalable, high-performing international sales organization — leading a team of regional sales directors and managers across our global offices.

Your Mandate
The Vice President of Global Sales will own Counterpoint's global commercial performance and help translate the company's strategy into sustainable growth.
You will:
- Define and execute the global sales strategy across regions, customer segments, and service lines.
- Accelerate growth through new business, enterprise account expansion, retention, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and develop a high-performing global sales leadership team.
- Strengthen executive relationships with Counterpoint's most important customers.
- Establish the commercial discipline, operating model, and leadership capability required to scale the organization.
- Partner with Research, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Human Resources to align customer needs with business priorities.
- Contribute to company-wide decisions on market expansion, investment priorities, organizational design, and long-term growth.
What You Will Own
You will be accountable for the performance and evolution of Counterpoint's commercials. This includes revenue growth, market expansion, strategic account development, commercial talent, forecasting discipline, and sales execution. You will also bring a customer and market perspective to broader corporate decisions.

Experience
- 15+ years of B2B sales experience within either technology, market intelligence, research, consulting, SaaS, or professional services.
- A proven track record of leading geographically distributed sales teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling of research, advisory, subscription based information services, or complex knowledge-based solutions.
- Deep understanding of global technology markets and the ability to engage credibly with senior executives on market trends, competitive dynamics, innovation roadmaps, and strategic business issues.
- Proven ability to work closely with analysts, research teams, and marketing organizations to convert thought leadership and market intelligence into commercial growth opportunities.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and represent the company externally.
- Excellent strategic thinking, commercial judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading organizational transformation, scaling commercial capability, utilizing modern CRM platforms, data-driven approach to commercial management.
- An MBA or equivalent business qualification is advantageous but not essential. Experience within one or more technology sectors — including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, smartphones, cloud computing, automotive technology, or digital ecosystems — will be highly valued.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will primarily be commercial performance. But for sustainable growth and growing to the next stage will require building the basis of a strong sales organization globally. We also expect you to strengthen Counterpoint's position as a trusted strategic partner to the world's leading technology companies.

Location
This position is open in Massachusetts or NY or NJ (USA) or London (United Kingdom).
Parallel recruitment is being conducted in both locations. The successful candidate will be permanently based in the location for which they are hired. Regular international travel is expected.
