VP HR – UK & EMEA

Our client is a global FMCG brand with an ambitious growth agenda and an increasingly international footprint. They are looking to appoint a VP HR to provide strategic people leadership across the region and play a key role in shaping the organisation’s next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CPO, this is a highly visible leadership role with significant scope to influence business strategy, evolve the people agenda and introduce new initiatives across the region. This is not a traditional operational HR position. The successful individual will be a strategic partner to the regional leadership team, while working closely with the global People function to ensure consistency, collaboration and alignment across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the UK & EMEA people strategy, aligned with the organisation’s broader global objectives and growth plans.
  • Partner closely with the CPO and senior leadership team to shape and execute key people priorities and organisational initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional HR team.
  • Drive strategic initiatives across areas such as organisational design, talent, leadership development, succession planning, engagement, culture and change.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and modernise the employee experience, HR processes and ways of working.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused people advice.
  • Lead regional change and transformation programmes, ensuring effective communication, engagement and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with the global People team in the US to develop and implement global programmes while ensuring they are appropriately adapted for the UK and EMEA.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the organisation through continued growth, ensuring the people infrastructure, capability and culture evolve alongside the business.
  • Champion a high-performance, inclusive and values-led culture across the region.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
