Role Purpose
Act as the senior strategic HR partner to the GPMS business globally, enabling integration and cultural alignment across the acquired platforms with Patria and supporting the business growth, organizational capability, performance, and ensuring the high performance of teams. The role reports to the Head of Business Partners and works as part of a broader global HR business partnering community supporting Patria's private markets platform.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Cultural HR Partnership
- Trusted Advisor: Act as the senior strategic HR partner to the GPMS leadership team, providing trusted advice and challenge on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, culture, leadership capability, and business transformation.
- Drive Cultural Integration: Align core processes and foster a unified team mindset across the business.
- Sense of Belonging Initiatives: Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and alignment with Patria's values and strategic objectives.
- Commercial Alignment: Partner closely with the wider HR leadership team to ensure the people agenda is fully aligned to GPMS's commercial and growth priorities.
Talent & Performance
- Performance Management / Talent Cycle Ownership: Lead on performance management, goal setting, succession planning, talent reviews, and 9-Box calibration processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and future talent requirements.
- Leadership Development: Partner with senior leaders to identify, develop, and retain key talent, providing coaching, leadership development support, and guidance on building high-performing teams.

M&A & Business Integration
- Integration Leadership: Lead the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and business integration activities, including organizational design, role mapping, change management, culture integration, talent assessment, employee communications, and workforce transition planning.
Employee Relations & Risk
- Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, employment law, and people risk matters, ensuring commercially sound, pragmatic, and legally compliant outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.
Governance & Global Mobility
- Process Governance: Oversee annual and cyclical people processes, ensuring effective governance, consistent execution, and alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- International Workforce: Support international workforce planning, mobility, immigration, and cross-border employment matters, enabling business growth and effective deployment of talent across global locations.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent professional HR qualification preferred.
- Experience: 12–20 years of progressive HR business partnering / HR leadership experience, ideally within asset management, financial services, or professional services, ideally supporting a private markets or institutional investment business.
- Demonstrated Experience: Leading the people agenda through mergers, acquisitions, and business integration, including organizational design and change management.
- Skills: Strong track record advising and influencing senior leaders and executive committees, with excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and communication skills. Working knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions (UK, US, and Latin America experience an advantage). Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organization. Hands-on, pragmatic style.

Location
Edinburgh or London, working in close partnership with the Head of Business Partners and the global GPMS leadership team. International travel will be expected.
