The Role

The successful candidate will join an established Investment Banking team, taking a senior role across the execution of M&A and broader corporate finance transactions. This is an opportunity for an experienced Investment Banking professional looking for greater deal ownership, senior client exposure and involvement across both transaction execution and business development.

About the Role

  • Lead M&A transactions from initial engagement through to completion
  • Manage financial analysis, valuation and transaction modelling
  • Oversee preparation of pitch books, information memoranda and client materials
  • Coordinate due diligence and transaction workstreams
  • Manage interactions with clients, investors, management teams and advisers
  • Review DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
  • Manage Analysts and Associates across live transactions
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior clients
  • Support pitches, client development and origination activity
  • Develop relationships across corporate, private equity and wider investor networks

Your Experience

  • Strong Investment Banking / M&A experience
  • Proven execution experience across completed transactions
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation capability
  • Experience managing end-to-end M&A processes
  • Excellent understanding of DCF, trading comparables and precedent transactions
  • Experience managing and developing Analysts and Associates
  • Commercial understanding of M&A and capital markets
  • ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification advantageous but not essential
  • Experience supporting pitches, business development and origination activity
