The Opportunity
In March 2026, TP appointed Jorge Amar as its new Chief Executive Officer as the company accelerates its evolution into a next-generation, AI-enabled global digital business services leader. As that transformation reshapes the equity story, the TP is seeking a VP of Investor Relations to own how that story is understood and valued by the capital markets. TP's stock is currently covered by approximately 14 sell-side analysts, and this role owns that relationship set end to end — shaping the narrative, managing expectations, and ensuring the Street models the business correctly. This is a market-facing leadership seat with direct and continuous access to the CEO, CFO, and Board.
In This Role, You Will Be a Part Of
- Serving as the company's voice to sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and the broader capital markets.
- Owning a sell-side community of approximately 14 covering analysts — model integrity, consensus alignment, initiations, and coverage transitions.
- Building the quarterly earnings narrative alongside the CEO and CFO, from script and deck through Q&A preparation.
- Translating an AI-led operating model into a credible, measurable equity story with a defensible long-term growth algorithm.
- Bringing the voice of the market back inside the company to inform strategy, capital allocation, and disclosure.
- Special assignments that have business impact.
The Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and execute TP’s global investor relations strategy in partnership with the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with institutional investors, portfolio managers, buy-side analysts, and sell-side analysts globally.
- Own consensus management: monitor published estimates and models, identify and correct misunderstandings of the business, and ensure guidance is interpreted as intended.
- Lead the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including the press release, earnings deck, prepared remarks, Q&A preparation, and post-call analyst follow-up.
- Partner with the CEO and CFO to define, refine, and consistently articulate the equity story, the long-term growth algorithm, and the AI-led transformation narrative.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and actively manage the shareholder base and targeting strategy.
- Design and execute the IR calendar: investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, analyst and investor days, site visits, and one-on-one engagements.
- Prepare the CEO, CFO, and Board for investor and analyst engagements through concise briefing materials, anticipated questions, and post-meeting feedback.
- Deliver structured market intelligence to the executive team and Board: analyst sentiment, consensus movement, valuation and peer benchmarking, ownership shifts, and short interest.
- Monitor and report shareholder ownership, activist activity, and proxy voting patterns; recommend responses in coordination with Legal.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Communications, ESG, and the business lines to ensure one consistent message across all external channels.
- Provide IR counsel on capital markets activity, including M&A, debt and equity transactions, capital allocation, and any change to the guidance framework.
- Build, lead, and develop the IR function and team; establish the operating cadence, tools, and metrics for the discipline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The First-Year Objectives
- Within the first two quarters, establish direct working relationships with all covering analysts, complete a model-by-model review to eliminate structural modeling errors, and build a coverage map identifying where the narrative is misunderstood, where sentiment is recoverable, and where new coverage should be cultivated.
- Partner with the CEO and CFO to articulate a clear, defensible long-term growth algorithm — revenue, margin, and cash conversion — that translates the AI transformation into terms the market can model, supported by consistent KPIs and disclosure that hold up quarter over quarter.
- Deliver a disciplined quarterly process — materials, prepared remarks, Q&A preparation, and analyst follow-up — that reduces post-print surprise, narrows the gap between guidance and consensus, and gives the CEO and CFO confidence in every call.
- Establish a recurring feedback loop that delivers analyst sentiment, consensus movement, ownership change, and peer valuation insight to the executive team and Board, turning IR from an outbound function into a source of decision-grade input on strategy and capital allocation.
- Execute a targeted investor outreach program that increases long-horizon institutional ownership, diversifies the holder mix, and measurably expands the quality and depth of the investor pipeline.
The Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration required; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant experience across public company Investor Relations, equity research, or investment banking, including senior IR leadership at a listed multinational.
- Demonstrated experience managing a sell-side analyst community with a track record of owning covering-analyst relationships, correcting models, and managing consensus is essential for this role.
- Direct experience with the full public reporting cycle: earnings, guidance, analyst days, and Regulation FD compliance.
- Experience communicating a transformation or turnaround story; credibility with both growth and value investors.
- Exposure to digital business services, technology, or AI-driven business models; fluency in the metrics that drive their valuation.
- Deep understanding of how sell-side models are built, maintained, and revised.
- Ability to anticipate the analyst question before it is asked and to answer it within disclosure limits.
- Command of valuation frameworks, peer benchmarking, and consensus mechanics.
- Strong financial acumen; able to work fluently in the operating model and reconcile IR messaging to reported results.
- Translates complex financial and operational data into clear, defensible narrative.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven approach to market feedback and positioning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; executive presence in front of analysts, investors, and the Board.
- Composure under scrutiny and credible in adversarial and high-stakes settings.
- Skilled at building trust across a demanding external stakeholder set.
- Impeccable discretion with material non-public information.
- Sound instinct for what to disclose, when, and how.
- Trusted advisor capable of challenging the CEO and CFO constructively.
