VP OF MARKETING | GLOBAL LUXURY BEAUTY BRAND

London or US | Digital-First Brand Builder

We’re searching for an exceptional VP of Marketing to join one of the most distinctive and exciting brands in global beauty.

This is a rare opportunity for a digital-first brand builder to take a highly regarded, founder-led beauty business into its next chapter of growth.

We’re looking for someone who understands how modern beauty brands are built today — someone equally comfortable defining the big brand idea and obsessing over how it comes alive across all channels a customer interacts with and is influenced by.

Working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team, you’ll own the global marketing vision and build the strategy, team and capabilities required to create a culturally relevant and commercially powerful global brand.

THE ROLE

As VP of Marketing, you will:

  • Own and evolve the global brand strategy, defining positioning, brand architecture, audience, messaging and the long-term roadmap for building brand equity.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Founder, translating a highly distinctive creative vision into a brand platform that can scale globally without losing what makes it special.
  • Develop the global marketing strategy and annual marketing plan, connecting brand ambition with clear commercial priorities, launches and growth objectives.
  • Set the standard for brand storytelling and creative excellence, ensuring every customer touchpoint feels distinctive and unmistakably part of the same brand world.
  • Build a truly digital-first marketing model, with content, creators and community at the heart, so that owned, earned and paid channels are working together to maximise impact.
  • Oversee the customer acquisition strategy, defining the role of paid social, paid search, affiliates and emerging channels, and balancing the need to achieve commercial goals with brand building.
  • Develop a sophisticated creator, influencer and press strategy, building meaningful relationships that extend reach while strengthening credibility and brand love.
  • Partner closely with Product to shape innovation and launch strategy, ensuring product storytelling and campaigns create maximum cultural and commercial impact.
  • Build, mentor and inspire a world-class marketing organisation, establishing the capabilities, structure, agency ecosystem and ways of working required for the next stage of growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ABOUT YOU

You are first and foremost a brand builder. You’ve helped create or scale a culturally relevant consumer brand, in the digital age.

You will bring:

  • Significant senior marketing leadership experience within beauty, luxury, fashion or another premium consumer category.
  • A track record of building brands, not simply managing them.
  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape, particularly social platforms, creators and community. Sharp interest in emerging platforms and technology.
  • The ability to connect brand and performance — investing for long-term equity while delivering measurable commercial growth.
  • Experience developing global brand and marketing strategies across multiple markets. Must have experience of the US market.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, with confidence using consumer insight and data to inform decisions.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams and managing best-in-class agency partners.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — strategic enough to set the vision, but hands-on enough to make things happen.

This isn’t a role for someone looking simply to manage an established marketing playbook.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build the next one.

Someone who understands where beauty and consumer culture are heading. Someone who knows how to turn audiences into communities, launches into cultural moments and customers into advocates.

And someone excited by the opportunity to help build the next big beauty brand on the global stage.
