THE ROLE
The Vice President, Programmatic Activation (Europe) role is at the forefront of Zeta’s media activation business. In this high-impact role, you will combine ad operations oversight, presales media guidance, and people management to drive account growth in highly targeted digital advertising programs.
Based in London (or the surrounding area), you will lead Zeta's growing media operations across EMEA, with an initial focus on the UK and Western European markets. You will be directly responsible for managing media campaigns in the UK, while overseeing the French country lead as your direct report. You will also serve as the go-to partner for UK sales and planning leadership, approving media plans, pricing, and campaign recommendations for new business. As the business expands, you will be empowered to grow and manage your London-based AdOps team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Programmatic Campaign Management
- Media Ownership: Take full responsibility for UK media campaigns, delivering strong performance, managing margins, and supporting account management teams with QBRs and insights as needed.
- Account Growth: Partner with sales to identify upsell opportunities to drive incremental budgets and secure renewals.
- Technical Solutions: Troubleshoot, and debug complex ongoing activities related to tracking, ad serving, and trading/optimization issues.
- International Collaboration: Coordinate and support media initiatives across EMEA to ensure cross-border alignment, serving as an escalation resource for your France-based trading manager.
Presales Pricing & Strategy
- Commercial Pricing: Set or approve media rates for all programmatic offerings submitted by the Presales Planning team.
- Strategic Input: Partner with sales and account leadership to provide technical and strategic input on new business pitches and media plans to ensure proposals are setup for success.
People Management
- Team Guidance: Oversee and support the France media lead and his/her Paris-based AdOps team.
- UK Team Management: Onboard and manage a London-based AdOps team in response to high-growth business needs.
Campaign Excellence & Analytics
- Media KPIs: Own performance across your team's campaign portfolio by ensuring programmatic best practices are followed and timely optimizations are made to achieve client KPIs.
- Operational Guardrails: Monitor internal and third-party reporting for pacing, performance, and discrepancy tracking.
- Advanced Analysis: Partner with Analytics and Client Success teams to prepare deep post-campaign reports for Tier 1 clients.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience: 8+ years’ experience in programmatic advertising within Trading, AdOps, or Account Management functions, with a proven track record in people management and media optimization.
- Presales Acumen: Demonstrated experience contributing to presales strategies, media plan pricing, and commercial proposals.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of at least one DSP (DV360, Xandr, Yahoo, or TTD, preferred) along with solid optimization expertise across supply, audience, bidding, and attribution factors.
- Client Skills: Proven ability to represent your organization as a credible subject matter expert whenever client-facing media support is required.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytic skills, including a high level of comfort with Excel and data-driven decision-making.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding business writing, communication, and presentation skills, paired with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in an accelerated environment.
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory.
