Vice President, Non-Financial Risk Controls

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Non-Financial Risk Controls to join our Payments Enablement Platform team. This role is in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support and facilitate the implementation and execution of NFR responsibilities within the Platform
  • Identify, challenge and escalate asks/initiatives that go beyond the scope of 1RC Non-Financial Risk program responsibilities
  • Build deep expertise in NFR tooling and related data and analytics
  • Monitor and report the status of NFR program deliverables, proactively identifying and solutioning for challenges/blockers.
  • Working across the Platform, drive the remediation and reporting of key incidents, issues management, controls assessments, issues as relevant to the Platform
  • Identify and Analyze trends and issues, recommend remediation approach and integrate outcomes into reporting.
  • Identify inefficiencies, flag emerging risks, and propose practical solutions grounded in data and workflow understanding.
  • Collaborate closely with Platforms, Compliance, Risk, and Group teams—contributing expertise and supporting execution.
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of their work, understanding how it supports enterprise supervision and conduct outcomes

  • Proactive escalation & ownership
  • Adaptability to evolving risk landscapes

Success Indicators:

  • Accurate, complete, and timely RCSA execution
  • Reduction in overdue issues, high-quality remediation plans, and audit-ready documentation
  • Reliable KRI and telemetry analysis with actionable insights
  • Strong engagement in risk routines and governance forums
  • Positive feedback from Platform stakeholders and 2LoD partners
  • Visible adoption of discipline guardrails and uplift in NFR execution consistency
