We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Accounting to lead the company’s accounting organization and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and controllership functions. This executive will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records, strengthening accounting processes and controls, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

The Vice President of Accounting will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to support financial planning, business decisions, regulatory compliance, and long-term organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the company’s accounting and controllership functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and financial reporting.
- Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of financial reporting.
- Oversee external audits, tax-related accounting activities, and relationships with external accounting firms and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, reporting efficiency, and overall financial operations.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, including hiring, performance management, professional development, and organizational planning.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Operations, and other departments on financial and business initiatives.
- Provide senior leadership with financial analysis, accounting insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor accounting risks and implement appropriate controls to protect company assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and other corporate finance initiatives as needed.
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems, financial technologies, and reporting infrastructure to support business growth.
- Lead special projects related to corporate development, acquisitions, new business initiatives, system implementations, and organizational expansion.
