A team of experienced credit analysts got fed up with how their industry worked. Corporate credit is one of the biggest investment markets in the world, yet analysts were still manually pulling filings, spreading numbers and building models by hand.
So they built the technology to fix it.
Today, their clients include the top investment banks in the world. Over the last few years, they've massively grown their client base & their revenue!
AI isn't a side project here, it's the product.
Their platform already lets credit investors query financial data and company filings in plain English.

They're now looking for someone to lead the AI/ML team.
You won't be joining as a manager who has stepped away from the code.
You'll take the lead on AI, building agentic systems over real financial data, leading a team of very experienced engineers and helping shape where the tech goes next. You'll still be hands-on, with a big say in the architecture, the roadmap and what gets built.
The work is a real mix: agents and LLMs working over structured numerical financial data and company filings, alongside traditional ML, all where accuracy genuinely matters.
One of the best things about the setup is that they're big enough to have serious clients and proven traction, but still small enough that you'd own the technical direction, with very little red tape.
Ideal Candidate
You'll ideally have experience with:

- Building and shipping agentic AI / LLM systems in production (RAG, multi-agent, tool use, MCP)
- Traditional machine learning in production (e.g. PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost)
- MLOps and evaluation pipelines
- Python (TypeScript is a bonus)
- System design and cloud infrastructure
- Leading engineering teams and setting technical direction
- Financial services, fintech or financial data
This would suit someone who still loves engineering, but is ready to lead the AI direction of a business where AI is the core of the product, and who can explain their thinking clearly to engineers and execs alike.
