About Nordic Knots

Nordic Knots is building a global Scandinavian design house for the modern home. Starting with hand-crafted rugs, the brand has expanded rapidly into new textile categories including textiles, curtains, and bedroom collections. Supported by top-tier global investors, we are entering our most ambitious growth phase yet. This shift brings fundamental strategic questions about how production setups are structured, how the tech and ERP ecosystem is built, and how a global supply chain is designed to support the next phase of scale.

The Role & What You’ll Do

As Nordic Knots continues to expand globally, we are looking for a senior, strategic, and deeply execution-driven Vice President of Operations to join our global team. Reporting directly and working in close partnership with the COO in Stockholm, the Vice President of Operations will provide additional leadership capacity, taking ownership of strategy execution and translating our long-term vision into operational reality. You will develop and execute our long-term operational strategy while driving performance across our supply chain, production, logistics, systems, and team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Network Architecture: Own the strategic blueprint for our global production and supply chain network. Evaluate and execute new manufacturing setups to support our expansion into new categories and complex, custom-made products.
  • Scale & Operating Discipline: Develop the processes, structures, and operating disciplines required to support significantly greater scale and complexity, ensuring the business can grow without operational complexity growing at the same rate.
  • Systems Integration & Automation: Lead the strategic roadmap for our operational systems. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement, driving ERP and tech upgrades that support how we operate at scale.
  • KPIs & Management Routines: Establish clear operational KPIs and management routines that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making across the entire supply chain and operations organization.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, Product, and Tech teams to align planning, optimize working capital, and improve overall execution across the company.
  • People & Team Development: Develop and coach operational leaders, transferring knowledge into the organization to build a high-performing, resilient operations team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who You Are

Most importantly, we are looking for a builder and an operator. You are someone who is comfortable moving seamlessly between high-level strategic questions and the operational details required to solve them, not someone who manages exclusively through presentations and reporting.

We believe you have:

  • Proven Leadership at Scale: 10+ years of senior operational leadership experience. Crucially, you have operated in a physical-product business at a meaningfully larger scale and level of complexity than where Nordic Knots is today.
  • Scaling & Category Expansion Journey: First-hand experience navigating the scaling journey, including expanding a brand from mono-category to multi-category or managing customized/made-to-order product setups.
  • Systems & Process Mastery: Demonstrated experience introducing structure, processes, and KPIs without creating unnecessary bureaucracy, alongside hands-on experience scaling ERPs and integrated operational platforms.
  • KPI & Financial Acumen: Strong command of operational economics (working capital, cost structures, service levels) combined with a data-obsessed approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic Partner to the COO: A strong collaborative mindset with the seniority to drive major initiatives independently while partnering closely with executive leadership to elevate the entire organization.
