Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales – Europe is responsible for leading and developing a world-class sales organization that consistently delivers profitable, sustainable growth across the European region. This leader creates a high-performance sales culture focused on, disciplined execution, collaboration, customer success, and accountability while embodying Convergint's Values and Beliefs.

The Vice President of Sales partners closely with Operations, Service, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Vertical Market leaders, Global Accounts, Business Development, Industry Partners, and executive leadership to execute the company's strategic growth objectives. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on leadership, working with Convergint colleagues on day-to-day execution while driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute the European sales strategy aligned with Convergint's Go To Market objectives. (Local, Vertical, Global)
  • Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales priorities that drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline capable of supporting long-term business objectives.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives across existing markets.
  • Build Partner Ecosystem aligned to Convergint Global Elite Partner Program
  • Drive strategic account planning and executive customer engagement for key opportunities.

Revenue Growth & Sales Performance

  • Lead the organization in achieving and exceeding annual sales and gross profit objectives.
  • Improve opportunity conversion rates through disciplined sales execution and coaching.
  • Increase pricing discipline and value-based selling to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of Convergint's sales methodology, CRM processes, and forecasting standards.
  • Drive growth across new logo acquisition, customer expansion, and recurring service revenue.

Sales Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, retain, coach, and develop exceptional sales leaders and sales colleagues.
  • Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline inspections, forecast reviews, and performance coaching.
  • Develop succession plans and future sales leadership talent.

Customer & Market Leadership

  • Build executive-level relationships with strategic customers and industry partners.
  • Support complex negotiations and major customer pursuits.
  • Represent Convergint throughout the European marketplace, strengthening the company's reputation and brand.
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.

Forecasting & Business Management

  • Maintain an accurate and predictable sales forecast.
  • Use data to drive informed business decisions.
  • Monitor pipeline health, sales velocity, pricing performance, and profitability.
  • Ensure disciplined sales governance and operational excellence across the region.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with:
    • Regional Operations Leaders
    • Business Development Leaders

    • Vertical Market Leaders
    • Service Leadership
    • Finance

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant progressive sales leadership experience within complex B2B solutions.
  • Proven record of leading multi-country or regional sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated success achieving aggressive revenue and profit growth objectives.
  • Experience leading strategic account sales and executive customer relationships.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional coaching, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM disciplines.

Preferred

  • Experience within electronic security, technology integration, managed/remote services, or related industries.
  • Experience working across multiple European countries and cultures.
  • Knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies and strategic account management.
