Vice President / Senior Associate | Private Capital Advisory

A leading independent private capital advisory firm is seeking a Vice President or Senior Associate to join its growing General Partner Advisory team in London. The appointee will support both origination and execution activities across fundraising and secondary advisory mandates.

With colleagues across Europe, the business advises private equity, infrastructure and private credit fund managers on capital raising, strategic advisory and GP-led secondary transactions, working with clients and investors across the global private markets landscape.

This will mean:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with private equity, infrastructure and private credit fund managers;
  • Supporting the origination of new advisory mandates and helping convert prospective clients into active engagements;
  • Leading project management and execution across primary fundraisings, capital formation assignments and GP-led secondary transactions;
  • Drafting, coordinating and reviewing fundraising materials, presentations, investment memoranda and related documentation;
  • Advising clients on fundraising strategy, market positioning and investor engagement approaches;
  • Managing transaction processes from initial mandate through to successful completion;
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and coordinating activity across multiple stakeholders;
  • Supporting the development of the firm's pipeline, CRM processes, marketing initiatives and broader platform growth;
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members as the business continues to expand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
