- Drive operational integration by ensuring that technology solutions are practical, sustainable, user-adopted, and supported by appropriate processes, training, documentation, and support models.
- Promote disciplined project execution, ensuring technology initiatives are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with organisational standards.
- Build strategic partnerships with vendors, OEMs, research institutions, industry bodies, and technology partners to access innovation, capability, and market intelligence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Technology & Innovation team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and value delivery.
- Provide executive-level reporting on technology portfolio performance, investment priorities, risks, adoption levels, benefits realisation, and innovation pipeline progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
