We are partnering with a top-tier global mid-market investment bank to hire a Vice President into their Technology M&A team in London.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join one of the most active technology advisory franchises in the market during a period of significant European expansion.

The Role

  • Lead and execute sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates for European growth-stage and established technology companies
  • Manage and mentor a team of Associates and Analysts, driving workstream quality and client delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with founders, management teams, private equity sponsors, and corporate acquirers across the technology ecosystem
  • Originate new mandates through proactive sector coverage and contribute to the team's business development pipeline
  • Collaborate cross-border with US-based technology bankers to deliver integrated advisory solutions for European clients accessing US capital markets and acquirers

Candidate Profile

  • 6–10 years of technology investment banking experience at a recognised investment bank or advisory firm
  • Strong M&A execution track record with experience across the full deal lifecycle (origination through completion)
  • Deep knowledge of one or more technology subsectors with established sector relationships
  • Demonstrable ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver under pressure
  • Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in building and growing a franchise
  • Entrepreneurial attitude — this is a platform where high performers have direct access to senior leadership and meaningful client exposure
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are a strong plus
