At Guidelight Health, we are building a team of passionate, forward-thinking professionals who are eager to be part of this exciting journey to reshape mental health care. Join us in making a lasting impact!

Position: Vice President, Technology

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

Location: Remote with travel

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

About Guidelight Health

Guidelight Health is redefining mental healthcare — built on the power of connection and ignited by the belief that everyone deserves a seat. We operate PHP and IOP programs across multiple states and are backed by Triple Aim Partners and Google Ventures. As we scale toward 150+ clinics across 25–30 markets, technology is a core enabler of that ambition.

We are building the infrastructure — clinical, operational, data, and AI — that allows us to grow without sacrificing the quality and consistency of care that define our mission.

The Opportunity

This is a builder’s role. Guidelight is at an inflection point: our technology function must evolve from foundational IT operations into a fully integrated enterprise capability spanning IT, engineering, and data.

The Vice President of Technology will own that transformation — rapidly assessing needs, building scalable systems, and leading a technology organization capable of supporting a company ten times its current size. This leader will be both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable in a boardroom conversation about AI strategy and a technical discussion about data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & AI Leadership

  • Own and continuously evolve Guidelight’s enterprise technology roadmap aligned to clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Champion AI adoption across the organization — identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve behavioral health outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate AI vendors and tools (e.g., ambient documentation, AI-assisted coding, intelligent intake triage) and lead implementation with Clinical and Operations leadership.
  • Serve as the internal AI evangelist, educating leaders on responsible AI use and technical safeguards.
  • Make and communicate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions across all technology verticals.
  • Present technology strategy, AI roadmap, and enterprise risk posture to the CEO and board.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Own all IT infrastructure — cloud environments, network, endpoint management, and clinic-level systems — ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Manage new clinic launch provisioning, improving speed and consistency as growth accelerates.
  • Oversee vendor and MSP relationships, including performance management, SLA accountability, and contract governance.
  • Ensure systems support multi-state, multi-clinic operations at scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
