Vice Principal – Student Experience

WeDoData are supporting a leading further education organisation with the appointment of a Vice Principal – Student Experience.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for driving curriculum development, quality improvement and an outstanding student experience.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the organisation’s Skills and Enterprise Strategy, developing strategic partnerships and ensuring the curriculum continues to meet the needs of learners, employers and the wider skills agenda.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic curriculum development and delivery, ensuring it is responsive to learner and industry needs.
  • Drive quality improvement, assurance and compliance across the organisation.
  • Provide leadership across MIS and Student Support, ensuring effective services for staff and learners.
  • Lead on statutory and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, Prevent and data protection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, funding bodies, quality agencies and partner organisations.
  • Work as part of the Executive Team, contributing to wider organisational strategy and priorities.
  • Support initiatives that improve student outcomes, learning and teaching, and the overall learner journey.

About you:

We’re looking for an experienced senior leader with a strong background in the further education/college sector. You’ll need:

  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, alongside a teaching qualification.
  • Significant experience leading curriculum design, quality improvement or related strategic initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the college sector and experience working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent partnership-building and communication skills.
  • A strong focus on quality, standards and improving outcomes for students.
  • The confidence to lead change, encourage innovation and work effectively in a complex environment.
